We offer a number of training opportunities for youth through online courses and an annual design competition called Innovate Ghana. Through this program, our ultimate goal is to develop a pipeline of skilled STEM talent to not only drive industrial development in Ghana,
but to inspire a culture of innovation and empower the next generation of youth to develop local solutions for local problems.

Innovate Ghana is an annual design competition and workshop that began in 2013 to challenge high school, tertiary students and unemployed graduates to develop solutions to national development issues. We do so by teaching principles of critical thinking, human-centered design, STEM/STEAM and entrepreneurship. The theme of this year’s Virtual Innovation Camp, “SUSTAINABLE WASTE MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY:
Robotics and Automation; Solutions to the Waste Management Problem in Ghana” will explore solutions to challenges that
leverage the benefits of robotics and drone technology for waste management.
